In this article, we’ll list all the UFC venues in the UFC’s history in order of the most attended events in the most attended countries.

While the UFC is predominantly an American MMA promotion, it has traveled to many countries around the world due to having fans all over.

So, by country, here is the full list of UFC venues in order of the most attended.

As of June 1st, 2023, there have been 648 UFC events in 29 countries around the world. The most attended country is the USA, followed by Brazil, Canada, the UK, and Australia.

UFC Apex

>Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, 6650 El Camino Road

>Capacity: 150

>Number of UFC events: 80

The UFC Apex was opened on June 18, 2019, and first used on May 30, 2020, where it was used for 5 UFC events in a row after 5 UFC events had just been canceled due to the covid pandemic. 

The UFC Apex is currently the most used UFC venue/location due to it standing directly opposite the UFC Performance Institute which is the company headquarters. The UFC Apex is mostly used for UFC Fight Night events and sells only around 150 tickets to each event.

MGM Grand Garden Arena

>Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, 799 S Las Vegas Blvd

>Capacity: 17,000

The MGM was first used as a UFC venue for UFC 34 on November 2, 2001, and most recently for The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Cláudia Finale on July 8, 2016.

The UFC hasn’t used the MGM since 2016 because, in 2017, they signed an exclusive 7-year deal with AEG to have UFC events in Las Vegas exclusively at the  T-Mobile Arena when not at the UFC Apex. 

Except for 2 events at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, the UFC has only attended the UFC Apex and the T-Mobile Arena since 2017.

Mandalay Bay Events Center

The Mandalay Bay Events Center was a UFC venue first used at UFC 33 on September 28, 2001, and last used at UFC Fight Night: Almeida vs. Garbrandt on May 29, 2016.

The Mandalay Bay Events Center is no longer an event location for the UFC as under a tenancy and marketing agreement they moved to the T-Mobile Arena. It was renamed the Michelob Ultra Arena in 2021. 

The highest attendance for a UFC event at the Mandalay Bay Events Centers was 11,437.

T-Mobile Arena

>Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, 3780 S Las Vegas Blvd

>Capacity: 20,000

The T-Mobile Arena was a UFC venue for the first time at UFC 200: Tate vs Nunes on July 9, 2016, and the next event there will be UFC 290 on July 8, 2023. The T-Mobile Arena and the UFC Apex have been the exclusive UFC venues in Las Vegas since they signed a deal with AEG in 2017.

Palms Casino Resort

>Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, 4321 Flamingo Road

>Capacity: 2,217

Both a hotel and casino, the Palms Casino Resort was a UFC venue starting at UFC Fight Night: Stevenson vs. Guillard on Apr 5, 2007, until The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated Finale on July 6, 2018.

The UFC wasn’t too upset to leave the Palms Casino Resort, as the maximum attendance they had at an event there was 2,217 – the venue just wasn’t big enough.

The UFC and the Palms Casino Resort had a shaky history, due to Dana White being a massive gambler and having issues with the owners over betting on several occasions.

Prudential Center

>Location: Newark, New Jersey, 25 Lafayette St

>Capacity: 19,500

The first UFC event at the Prudential Center was at UFC 78 on November 17, 2007, with it being the most recent UFC venue for UFC 288 on May 6, 2023. UFC 288 also drew the highest UFC attendance there at 17,559.

Toyota Center

>Location: Houston, Texas, 1510 Polk St

>Capacity: 19,300

The Toyota Center was first a UFC venue for UFC 69 on April 7, 2007, and most recently for UFC 271 on February 12, 2022.

The highest UFC attendance there was 20,062 for UFC 264: Poirier vs. McGregor 3.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

>Location:  Las Vegas, Nevada, 3400 S Las Vegas Blvd

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was first a UFC venue for UFC Ultimate Fight Night 2 on October 3, 2005, and for the last time at The Ultimate Fighter: Team Carwin vs. Team Nelson Finale on December 15, 2012.

The UFC returned to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for the last time in 2012 after they had a fallout with the Palms Casino Resort.

Honda Center

>Location: Anaheim, California, 2695 E Katella Ave

Formerly called the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, the Honda Center was first used on April 15, 2006, for UFC UFC 59, and most recently January 22, 2022, for UFC 270. 

The highest UFC attendance at the Honda Center was 17,387 for UFC 270.

United Center

The United Center was first a UFC venue for UFC on Fox: Evans vs. Davis on January 28, 2012, and was last used for UFC 238 on June 8, 2019.

The highest UFC attendance at the United Center was 18,117 for UFC 225.

TD Garden

>Location: Boston, Massachusetts, 100 Legends Way

>Capacity: 20,000

TD Garden was a UFC venue for the first time at UFC 118 on August 28, 2010, and was last used for UFC on ESPN: Reyes vs. Weidman on October 18, 2019.

The highest UFC attendance at TD Garden was 16,015 for UFC 220: Miocic vs Ngannou.

American Airlines Center

>Location: Dallas, Texas, 2500 Victory Ave

>Capacity: 21, 146

>Number of UFC events: 6

The American Airlines Center was first used as a UFC event location for UFC 103 on September 19, 2009, and most recently for UFC 277 on July 30, 2022. The highest UFC attendance there was 19,442 at UFC 277.

Madison Square Garden (MSG)

>Location: New York City, New York, 4 Pennsylvania Plaza

>Capacity: 20,789

MSG was first a UFC venue for UFC 205 on November 12, 2016, and most recently for UFC 281 on November 12, 2022. 

UFC 205 was the first UFC event back in New York, 21 years after the first UFC event was held there on September 8, 1995, for UFC 7. 

It took so long to return to New York after many US states started banning MMA in 1997, and New York was the last to legalize it in 2016.

The highest UFC attendance at MSG was 20,845 for UFC 281.

Staples Center

>Location: Los Angeles, California

>Capacity: 21,000

The Staples Center was first used by the UFC at UFC 60 on May 27, 2006, with the last event being UFC 227: Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt 2 on Aug 4, 2018.

The highest UFC attendance was 17,794. The Staples Center was opened on October 17, 1999, and was renamed the Crypto.com Arena in December 2021.

Bridgestone Arena

>Location: Nashville, Tennessee, 501 Broadway

>Capacity: 20,000

The Bridgestone Arena was used for a UFC event for the first time at UFC on FX: Guillard vs. Miller on January 20, 2012, and for the last time at UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Pettis on March 23, 2019.

The highest UFC attendance at the Bridgestone Arena is 10,863.

HP Pavilion (SAP Center)

Now known as the SAP Center, the UFC’s first event there was at UFC 139 on November 19, 2011, with the last at UFC on Fox: Lawler vs. Brown on July 26, 2014. The UFC’s highest attendance there was 13,832.

Boardwalk Hall

>Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey, 2301 Boardwalk

>Capacity: 14,770

Boardwalk Hall was first used at UFC 41 on February 28, 2003, and the last time it was a UFC venue was for UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Lee on April 21, 2018. The highest UFC attendance there was 12,000.

Pepsi Center

The highest UFC attendance at the Pepsi Center was 16,344, at UFC 135 on September 24, 2011, which was the first UFC event there. The last UFC event there was at UFC Fight Night: The Korean Zombie vs. Rodríguez on November 10, 2018.

In October 2020, the Pepsi Center changed its name to Ball Arena after the Ball Corporation purchased the naming rights.

Amway Center

>Location: Orlando, Florida,

The highest UFC attendance at the Amway Center was 17,065 at the most recent UFC event there, UFC on ESPN: Thompson vs. Holland, on December 3, 2022. The first UFC event there was UFC on Fox: Werdum vs. Browne on April 19, 2014. The UFC only hosts Fight Night events at the Amway Center.

Nationwide Arena

The first UFC event at the Nationwide Arena was UFC 68 on March 3, 2007, and they most recently hosted there for UFC on ESPN: Blaydes vs. Daukaus on March 26, 2022.

The first UFC event at the du Forum was UFC 251: Usman vs. Masvidal on July 12, 2020. It was the first UFC event outside of the USA during the peak time of the covid pandemic. The UAE government set up a covid bubble on Fight Island specifically for the UFC to continue operating when the USA was closing down.

It was most recently turned into a UFC venue for UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje on October 24, 2020. It’s unlikely to be used by the UFC in the future as they now use the 18,000-capacity Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Arena
