1. Colby Covington – UFC on ESPN: Covington vs. Lawler (August 4, 2019)

>Song Used: Kurt Angle – Medal (Entrance Theme)

Love him or hate him, you can’t deny this is an epic walkout.

Walking out to Kurt Angle’s ‘You Suck’ theme song and donning the US colors, Colby looked completely composed and focused ahead of a huge main event fight against Robbie Lawler to determine the next welterweight title challenger.

With the crowd chanting “You Suck!” and most of the crowd against him, Colby couldn’t care less and you can see it in his demeanor. He’s only there to get his hands raised.

An incredible wrestler himself, this was a great tribute to one of the best professional wrestlers of all time.

From the trash talk to the walkout, Colby Covington gives 100% to selling his fights and this is undoubtedly one of the best UFC walkouts of all time.

2. Darren Till – UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs Till (May 27, 2018)

>Song Used: Sweet Caroline – Neil Diamond

Just 25 years old and in front of his hometown of Liverpool, England, Darren Till commanded the crowd to deliver one of the best sing-alongs in UFC history.

Undefeated with an 18-0 record at the time, Till was walking out to face his toughest opponent yet, Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson.

Casually walking out at first, Till starts jogging and comes out of the tunnel with his fist raised to a roaring crowd.

The Echo Arena had 8,520 in attendance, but with the way the crowd sings, you’d have thought it was over 20,000. You won’t see better crowd participation in any UFC walkout.

Then before he enters the octagon he faces the crowd and soaks the moment in with the crowd and everyone around him.

Very much inspired by one of the best UFC walkouts of all time, Darren Till got the unanimous decision victory in his first 5-round fight.

3. Jon Jones – UFC 197 (April 23, 2016)

>Song Used: Coming Home – Diddy ft. Skylar Grey

Making his return to the UFC after being stripped of his title and having a 1-and-a-half-year layoff, you can see how much Jon Jones loves the sport and pleasing the fans.

“I know my kingdom awaits, and they’ve forgiven my mistakes, I’m coming home, I’m coming home, tell the world I’m coming home.” The lyrics perfectly describe what Jones wanted to say after his outside-the-cage controversies.

Screaming with joy and hyping himself up through the tunnel, he blows a kiss to the arena and raises both hands upon entry.

The youngest UFC champion of all time and undoubtedly the greatest MMA fighter of all time, his return made this an iconic UFC walkout.

4. Conor Mcgregor – UFC 189 (July 11, 2015)

>Song Used: Foggy Dew – Sinead O’Connor

Taking place at the end of the UFC International Fight Week, Conor McGregor was looking to make history as the first Irishman to become a UFC interim champion by beating elite wrestler, Chad Mendes.

In the first live performance for a UFC walkout, Irish icon Sinéad O’Connor was on an elevated platform and sang McGregor out to war to the tune of Foggy Dew.

Looking crazily into the camera when walking down the tunnel, you knew it was about to go down. Upon entering the arena, McGregor pointed to Sinead and immediately became stoic and focused on his task at hand.

Supported by 16,019 fans in the packed-out MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, this was a record-setting event until it was broken in his next fight against Jose Aldo at UFC 194.

Joe Rogan said, “The Irish people have come out tonight in a way that just defines them as a nation. And this man has incredible weight on his shoulders right now. The pressure that he’s experiencing right now, the hype behind all of this.”

It was an absolutely iconic UFC walkout, and likely the best Conor McGregor has produced.

5. Volkanovski – UFC 284 (February 12, 2023)

>Song Used: Down Under – Men at Work

Walking out to the biggest fight of his MMA career against lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, Alexander Volkanovski was trying to become only the fifth UFC double champ.

The face of Australia, Volkanovski walked out to Down Under by Men at Work, a beloved song in his country.

The 14,124 Australian fans in a sold-out RAC Arena in Perth didn’t disappoint, singing their hearts out for their man.

Getting checked by the cutman and the officials, Volkanovski couldn’t help but dance along to the singing crowd.

Walking up the octagon steps and turning back to the crowd before entering the cage, the Australian crowd gave him an overwhelming ovation. An exceptional UFC walkout.

Despite taking the fight on 2 weeks’ notice and the majority Irish crowd being against him (10,000 / 16,000), Chad Mendes was hyped by the song and looked determined and ready for war.
